Gas Tracer Injection Systems in Vancouver, BC

Serving Vancouver and the Metro Vancouver region

Specialized equipment for injecting hydrogen-nitrogen tracer gas into isolated pipe sections for leak detection.

Gas tracer injection systems are the specialized equipment used to introduce tracer gas into pipes for leak detection. The system consists of a pressure-regulated gas cylinder containing the 95% nitrogen / 5% hydrogen mixture, a pressure regulator and gauge for controlling injection pressure, a flow meter to measure gas volume injected, hoses and connectors for attaching to the pipe system, and safety equipment including check valves and pressure relief devices. The injection process involves: isolating the pipe section, draining the water if necessary (for pressurized systems), connecting the injection system to an available fitting (bleeder valve, drain port, test tee), and slowly introducing the gas mixture to the system pressure. The total gas volume required depends on the pipe diameter and length being tested.

Our technicians are experienced in applying Gas Tracer Injection Systems in Vancouver and across the Metro Vancouver region. We have the equipment, training, and local knowledge to deploy this method effectively for your specific situation.
