Video Pipe Inspection (CCTV)

Push-camera and crawler-cam inspection of sewer, drain, and pipe interiors to visually identify leaks, blockages, cracks, and root intrusion.

How Video Pipe Inspection (CCTV) Works

Video pipe inspection uses waterproof cameras mounted on push rods or self-propelled crawlers to visually inspect the interior of pipes. A high-resolution camera with LED lighting transmits live video to a surface monitor, allowing our technicians to identify cracks, root intrusion, joint separation, blockages, and active leaks. Modern CCTV systems include sonde transmitters that broadcast the camera's location to a surface receiver, enabling simultaneous pipe mapping. Our inspections follow PACP (Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program) standards for consistent defect coding. The recorded video provides permanent documentation for insurance claims, repair planning, and regulatory compliance.
