Underground Sprinkler Geyser — Pipe or Head Leak
A geyser or fountain of water from a sprinkler zone indicates a broken pipe or damaged sprinkler head in the buried irrigation system.
Possible Causes
- •Broken sprinkler pipe from freeze damage or physical impact
- •Damaged or blown-out sprinkler head from age or vehicle impact
- •Loose or damaged fitting at sprinkler head riser
- •Failed swing joint allowing excessive movement
- •Root intrusion lifting or damaging sprinkler components
