Radiant Floor Heating Leak Detection in British Columbia
Find leaks in hydronic in-floor heating loops without lifting the floor.

What is radiant floor heating leak detection?
Hydronic radiant-floor systems circulate warm water through tubing embedded in the slab. A leak drops boiler pressure and can saturate the floor. Because the tubing is buried in concrete, we use thermal imaging of the loops, system pressure testing and tracer gas to find the exact failure point with minimal slab removal.
How our radiant heating process works
- 1We map the heating loops with thermal imaging while the system runs.
- 2A pressure test confirms and quantifies the loss.
- 3Tracer gas pinpoints the breach in the buried tubing.
- 4We mark the precise spot to minimise concrete removal.

Radiant Heating — frequently asked questions
Can you find a leak in in-floor heating?
Yes. Thermal imaging shows the warm loops and any anomaly, and tracer gas confirms the exact breach so only a small section of floor is opened.
Will the whole floor need to come up?
No. The point of precise detection is to open one small area at the leak rather than removing the entire heated floor.
